Camp immediately recognized the potential of this new "fast casual" concept. In 1999, Camp Fitch, a seasoned restaurant executive joined the company. The first restaurant was opened in Winter Park, Florida and became the testing ground for today's Tijuana Flats.
Tijuana Flats Burrito Company was founded in November 1995 by Chief Chili Head, Brian Wheeler. Our restaurants are an event and a fun experience. We also sell 100's of hot sauces and a complete line of caps, T-shirts and memorabilia.
